Our company is in need of a talented Content Writer to create compelling blog posts, product descriptions, social media content, and web copy. We're looking for someone who will help us expand our digital footprint and drive more value through online content. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record with their ECAs/University Assignments/Part-time Jobs. This position requires a high level of creativity, research ability, excellent writing skills in English and Bangladesh, and as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material. The successful candidate should also be detail-oriented and committed to meeting tight deadlines. Preference will be given to those with a strong writing portfolio, bachelor's degree, and relevant work experience.
► Responsibilities
• Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
• Regularly produce various content types, including email, social media posts, blogs, and press release
• Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines
• Write a clear marketing copy to promote our products/services/industry
• Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
• Submit work to editors for input and approval
• Coordinate with design teams to illustrate articles and convert them for easy to digest social media contents.
• Manage online platforms such as Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, Etc
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
• Analyze content marketing metrics and makes changes as needed
► Requirements
• Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role either through university assignments, clubs activities or in a part-time job role
• Portfolio of published articles (Prefered but not recommended)
• Experience doing research using multiple sources
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English/Bangla
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Writing reports on the performance of the content
• BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field (People from other degrees can also apply)
• Ability to think in a creative manner and write catchy copy
• Proficiency with computers, especially writing programs, such as Google Docs and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
• Effective communication skills, able to think creatively and have a good sense of humor
• Your CGPA is not important & fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
► Bonus Points
• Familiarity with web publications
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
• Special preference will be given to those who have basic knowledge of SEO
• Working knowledge of Abobe tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro
• Knowledge of the RMG industry
► Salary Range
BDT 20,000 - BDT 25,000 based on experience and ECAs
